WHAT WE DO | OUR PROGRAMS
Jackson Chance Foundation’s (JCF) mission is to enrich the lives of families with babies in the NICU by allowing them to spend more time with their baby. JCF created the NICU Transportation Program to partner with hospitals and alleviate the transportation expenses of all families while their child is in the NICU by providing parking and CTA/Metra vouchers to EVERY family, each and every day. The programs are fully funded by JCF. Currently, the foundation’s program benefits the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago with the hope of expanding to other hospitals in the near future.
NURSING MOTHER’S AMENITY PROGRAM – In partnership with Medela, the Jackson Chance Foundation has developed the Nursing Mother’s Amenity Program to better meet the unique needs of travelers who are breastfeeding or ‘pumping’ while traveling. The thoughtful in-room amenities are currently available at Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, with proceeds benefiting families of children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s of Chicago through the Jackson Chance Foundation.
The program provides hospital grade Symphony breast pumps and breasfeeding Accessory Starter Kits, which include: Quick Clean Micro Steam Bags, Quick Clean Wips, Pump and Save and Disposable Bra Pads. In addition, the Nursing Mother’s Amenity Program also features convenient in-room amenities such as microwaves, mini-refrigerators, ice packs for transportation and mini coolor bags.
