“Our journey into parenthood was far from what we expected. After 6+ weeks in the hospital for PPROM, I delivered our miracle boys, Harrison and Brayden, at 29 weeks. We knew we would have an extended stay in the NICU, but there were still many unknowns.
We met Gina the night after our sweet Harrison passed away. Our hearts were shattered and we struggled to accept all the beauty Brayden had to offer. Somehow in the mix of emotions from one extreme to the next, Gina found a way to shed some light and help us find joy. She guided us to find a balance of grief and happiness.
Our hearts were broken and we were feeling lost. We will always remember the night before Harrison’s funeral, the first time I held Brayden. Gina placed Brayden in my arms and our hearts melted. She reminded us that we still had so much to be grateful for, our beautiful and tiny, miracle.
Throughout our 94 day stay in the NICU, Gina helped wipe our tears and remind us how to smile and laugh. She taught us how to comfort Brayden, even at his most delicate state. Gina cared for Brayden as if he was her child. She educated us and became an advocate for Brayden’s needs.
We will forever be grateful for the love, care, and dedication Gina shared with our family.”
