Alyssa Cassata
Executive Director
Alyssa Cassata is a seasoned nonprofit leader with over 12 years of experience driving transformational growth and advancing philanthropic impact across mission-driven organizations. She has a proven record of cultivating major donor relationships, securing multi-million-dollar support, and leading innovative fundraising strategies that deliver measurable results and expand organizational reach.
Her passion for pediatrics began during her time at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where she witnessed firsthand the critical role philanthropy plays in supporting children and their families during times of crisis. That experience inspired a career dedicated to advancing causes that change lives.
Most recently, Alyssa served as the Executive Director of The Reaumond Foundation, where she led significant growth in both fundraising revenue and donor engagement. Under her leadership, the Foundation expanded research funding, increased housing support for patients, and elevated awareness for pancreatic cancer. She also spearheaded signature fundraising events, including Knockout Cancer, which rallied community support and generated substantial funds for the mission.
Alyssa’s career also includes roles at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and Feeding America, where she helped secure millions in philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
She is excited to return to the pediatric space as Executive Director of the Jackson Chance Foundation, where her expertise, creativity, and dedication will help further the mission of supporting families with critically ill babies in the NICU.
