"Corina was one of our amazing primary nurses, and she truly changed our NICU journey for the better from the moment she walked into Chase’s room. Our whole family made an instant connection with her, but it was always so obvious that she and Chase shared a very special bond.

She taught us so much along the way. She taught us how to advocate, how to be strong, and how to use our voices. She created a safe space for all of us and quickly became family. She cared for Chase like he was her own, and we never had to worry when Corina was there. She gave us the comfort and peace of mind to leave the hospital and be with our 2-year-old at home, knowing Chase was in the best hands. That meant more to us than she will ever know.

We truly couldn’t have made it through those 7.5 months without her and her fun, joyful personality. She had a way of making us smile, even in some of the hardest moments, and those are memories we will carry with us forever.
