"Ayanna was one of our primary nurses during our extended NICU stay. Her bubbly personality and kindness made a difficult time more bearable. I could sleep easy knowing Atarah was in her care.

She was always smiling and willing to go the extra mile. Whenever she was caring for Atarah she made sure she was comfortable, well dressed, and had her hair styled to perfection. Ayanna is caring, patient, and very knowledgeable.

Ayanna cared for Atarah like she was family. And to me she became part of our family during our 11 months in the NICU. If I was having a bad day, just talking to her could lift my spirits. 

I knew Atarah was safe, secure, and well loved in Ayanna's care. She took our concerns seriously and never made me feel like I was asking too much. 

Ayanna is a great nurse and very deserving of the Owl Give Award.
